This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS and is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this Market Research and Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified Small Business, HUB Zone, 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran owned, and Women owned Small Business firms. Responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis will be used by the government in making appropriate acquisition decisions.  The Mobile District Corps of Engineers has a need for a one MATOC pool that will contain a full range of vertical construction, renovation, repair, and some incidental design task orders for general construction primarily supporting the work to be performed at twelve (12) locations and associated facilities as follows:

The NAICS is 238990, size standard $19M, with a $1.9 M capacity with projects ranging in size from $1K to $1M. This contract is intended to provide for a quick, cost-effective response to requirements for a full range of vertical construction, repairs and design/build, task orders for general construction primarily in supporting the Mobile District's requirements at locations described above. Potential projects include, but are not limited to new construction, incidental design/repair/rehab/install of Project Management Offices, Powerhouse, Maintenance Facility, Operations Area, boathouse, bathhouses, washhouses, gatehouses, toilets, shops, fencing, , playground equipment, bulletin boards, game courts, fire and security systems, picnic sites and campsites, courtesy docks, wooden bridges, HVAC, roofs, siding, boat storage sheds, bank stabilization/placement of rip-rap, repair/repaint spillway gates.
