The Salem-Keizer School District is seeking bids for the replacement of stage rigging at McNary High School in Keizer, Oregon. - Government Buyer: - Salem-Keizer School District, Procurement & Contracting Services - Contact: Shane Gott, PCS 3 - Project Scope: - Demolition and disposal of existing manual counterweight rigging line sets, drapery tracks, stage draperies, and t-bar battery elements (excluding fire curtain elements) - Installation of new counterweight rigging equipment, including motor assist units, acoustic reflectors with integrated down lights, and associated electrical equipment - Electrical engineering and permitting, including new panel boards, branch circuits, lighting control stations, DMX/RDM terminal blocks, and network receptacles - Retention and reuse of existing electrical components where possible, with extension of wiring as needed - Products & Equipment: - New counterweight arbors and J-Bar wall - Motorized rigging hoists (7 units) - New motor power panel board (1 unit) - LED retrofit engine (CANTO USA 'RETROFUSION 2.0 LED RETROFIT ENGINE') - New plug boxes (9 units) - New flown acoustic reflector units (3 units) - Lighting network receptacles, control stations, DMX/RDM terminal blocks, and cabling - OEMs and Vendors: - IWEISS (approved for counterweight system components) - CANTO USA (LED retrofit engine) - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with prevailing wage laws - Bid security (10% of base bid), performance and labor/materials bonds - DEQ 1200-C erosion and sediment control inspections - Strict student safety protocols, including fingerprint-based criminal history checks for all personnel - MWESB (Minority, Women, and Emerging Small Business) participation encouraged - Mandatory pre-bid and site walk for all proposers - All bids must be submitted online via the district's interactive bidding system
