The County of Lake Community Development Department is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive abatement services for code enforcement purposes. - Government Buyer: - County of Lake, Community Development Department, Code Enforcement Division - Scope of Services: - Removal and hauling of garbage, trash, debris, construction materials, appliances, and similar waste - Towing and removal of inoperable, wrecked, dismantled, or abandoned vehicles (cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RVs, industrial vehicles) - Demolition of structures, including mobile homes, RVs, accessory structures, sheds - Graffiti removal (cleaning and/or painting) - Hazardous vegetation removal (weed eating, mowing, dead tree removal) - Demolition and removal of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems - Removal and proper handling of hazardous waste, chemicals, sharps, biohazards, and oils - Securing and boarding up vacant structures (doors, windows, barricading, painting) - General construction, rehabilitation, repair, or installation (cameras, fences, windows, restoration) - Additional disposal services and fees - Notable Requirements: - Vendors must provide all necessary equipment and pay for required fees, permits, and licenses - Proof of insurance with at least $1,000,000 liability coverage - Active contractor's license and tow truck operator certification (if applicable) - Ability to invoice multiple departments separately - Award will be made to a single vendor based on lowest responsive and responsible bid - No specific OEMs or product manufacturers are named in the solicitation - All services are to be performed within Lake County, with the County Courthouse in Lakeport serving as the contracting office
