Description
The University of North Texas (UNT) is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide full MEP services to supply and install a new water-cooled chiller, equal to or better than a Daikin 1,250-ton unit, at the Central Utility Plant on the Discovery Park campus. The scope includes installation of all associated electrical equipment, piping, plumbing, controls, and mechanical materials necessary for full installation. Work must comply with all national and state codes as well as UNT Design and Construction Standards. The project is currently open for bids with a response deadline of April 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM CDT. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 27, 2026, at 12:45 PM CDT.
