Description
Simon Fraser University is seeking an observatory dome enclosure for a new roof-top quantum satellite station. The dome will house a tracking satellite telescope system and protect it from the elements, allowing stable interfacing with satellite and terrestrial/airborne platforms. The dome must be greater than 3 meters in diameter, allow satellite tracking suitability, and provide a full, unobstructed horizontal view. It will be installed on an existing building at SFU's Burnaby Campus and must comply with building code requirements, including providing engineered shop drawings and other documentation.
