Description

Conservation Halton is seeking a contractor for the rehabilitation of approximately 2160 m² of eroded valley slope along a portion of Bronte Creek. The project includes implementing slope rehabilitation enhancements such as toe protection with a vegetated rock buttress, regrading of a point bar along the inside bank of the channel meander, and surficial restoration of the eroded valley slope face with bioengineering. This work is part of a restoration program in partnership with Scouts Canada and aims to benefit the Shinner shiner fish species. The contract duration is 6 months.
