The County of Lake Community Development Department is seeking bids for comprehensive abatement services to support its Code Enforcement Division. - Scope of Work: - Removal and hauling of waste, including garbage, debris, construction materials, appliances, hazardous waste, and vehicle parts - Towing of abandoned, illegally dumped, and inoperable vehicles and RVs (cars, trucks, trailers, motorcycles, boats, industrial vehicles) - Demolition of structures such as mobile homes, accessory structures, sheds, and recreational vehicles - Demolition and removal of electrical and plumbing/HVAC systems - Removal of graffiti through cleaning and/or painting - Removal of hazardous vegetation, including weed eating, mowing, and dead tree removal - Securing and boarding up vacant structures (doors, windows, barricades) - General construction, rehabilitation, repair, or installation (e.g., cameras, fences, windows) - Proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste, chemicals, sharps, biohazards, and oils - Additional disposal fees as required - Requirements: - Vendors must submit pricing as hourly rates or other appropriate scales - Proof of Workers Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Automobile Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence) is required - Compliance with all relevant state and local laws - Award will be made to a single vendor based on the lowest responsive, responsible, and qualified bid - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Place of performance and contracting office: County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California
