Description

This Invitation to Tender (ITT) is to establish a Service Contract for the purchase and removal of scrap metal, aluminum, batteries, ferry cables, and other applicable scrap metal from locations throughout the Province of New Brunswick, on behalf of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. The contract term is two years, from June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2028, with an option to renew for three additional one-year terms. The successful bidder will be responsible for picking up scrap metal and other items within five working days of notification during regular working hours. Bidders must submit a Bidder Information Sheet and a copy of their New Brunswick Salvage Dealer's License, and evaluation will be based on the highest prices quoted, particularly for scrap, galvanized, and ferry cable due to large volume.
