The Federal Highway Administration is conducting market research to identify organizations capable of supporting Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Multimodal Standards Development, Maintenance, and Related Activities. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) - Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) - Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology (OST-R), Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Program Office (ITS-JPO) - Scope of Work: - Development, maintenance, and support of ITS multimodal standards - Evolving and validating non-proprietary, consensus-based mobility standards - Key focus areas include Complete Trips, Digital Curb Interfaces, Multimodal Service Integration, and Center-to-Center/Center-to-Traveler communications - Requires expertise in standards lifecycle management, stakeholder consensus, technical validation, and deployment support - Products/Services Requested: - No specific products or part numbers; comprehensive standards development and maintenance services - Unique Requirements: - Ability to build from existing ITS standards and develop new standards as needed - Support for consensus-based, non-proprietary standards - Technical validation and strategic coordination for deployment - Place of Performance: - FHWA facility, 1200 New Jersey Ave, SE, Washington, DC 20590 - Washington, DC
