Description
The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announces the adjusted dollar limitations on the amount of meat, meat products, poultry, and poultry products that retail stores can sell to hotels, restaurants, and similar institutions without losing exemption from Federal inspection requirements. The retail dollar limitations are adjusted based on changes in the Consumer Price Index. For calendar year 2026, the limits are set at $109,600 for meat and meat products and $76,100 for poultry and poultry products. These adjustments are effective May 28, 2026.
