Description
The NGDISM Grant Program, established under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, provides $200 million annually over five years to municipalities or community-owned utilities (excluding for-profit entities) for repairing, rehabilitating, or replacing natural gas distribution pipeline systems or acquiring equipment to reduce incidents and fatalities and avoid economic losses. Eligible applicants include county governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, special district governments, city or township governments, and nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status. The program does not require cost sharing or matching and offers grants ranging from $10,000 to $98 million.
