Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is soliciting proposals from eligible applicants for research, prototyping, and commercial solutions that advance microelectronics technology in the U.S. The scope includes advanced semiconductor technologies, AI applications in microelectronics, quantum technology, biotechnology, commercialization of innovations, and standards development. Eligible applicants include for-profit and non-profit organizations, accredited institutions of higher education, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers, and Federal entities. The funding instrument is other transaction agreements with expected awards around $10,000,000, and applications are accepted on a rolling basis until September 30, 2029.
