Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to enter into a cooperative agreement with a non-Federal public entity, non-profit entities, youth service or conservation corps organization for land stewardship and restoration services on USACE land in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. The cooperative agreement will assist in restoration and management of native prairie landscapes and wildlife habitat at Willamette Valley Projects in Lane County, Oregon. Projects focus on land stewardship, habitat restoration, campground maintenance, and vegetation management for dam safety at several lakes. The recipient must serve youth with active cases in the Lane County Department of Juvenile Justice, providing opportunities for restitution, community service, education, vocational training, and job readiness skills.
