Description
The Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) by the National Science Foundation (NSF) aims to promote scientific progress nationwide by fostering partnerships among academic institutions, government, industry, and non-profit sectors to improve research infrastructure and R&D capacity in eligible jurisdictions. The EPSCoR RII: EPSCoR Research Fellows program provides awards to build research capacity and transform career trajectories of investigators through collaborations with premier research institutions. Fellows engage in collaborative visits to host sites to learn new techniques, develop collaborations, and access unique facilities, with the goal of enhancing their research trajectories and institutional research capacity. Eligibility is limited to institutions in EPSCoR-eligible jurisdictions, including certain higher education institutions and non-profit organizations, with specific criteria for principal investigators.
