Description
The Resident Opportunity and Self Sufficiency Service Coordinator (ROSS-SC) program assists residents of Public and Indian Housing in progressing towards economic and housing self-sufficiency by addressing educational, professional, and health barriers. HUD provides grant funding to eligible applicants to hire a Service Coordinator who assesses resident needs and links them to local training and supportive services. The program also supports elderly and disabled residents by linking them to congregate and other supportive services to enable aging in place.
