Description

The U.S. Department of State’s Embassy Chisinau announces an open competition for the 2026 Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund (AEIF), supporting Moldovan alumni of U.S. government–funded exchange programs to develop and implement projects advancing U.S. policy goals and shared U.S.-Moldovan interests. Projects will focus on showcasing American excellence in business, innovation, and leadership, promoting U.S. opportunities that support local economic growth and job creation, and contributing to the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary through the Freedom 250 initiative. Eligible applicants include groups of at least two alumni or alumni associations who will carry out projects in coordination with the U.S. Embassy. Projects should enable Freedom 250-themed initiatives and create or expand partnerships highlighting U.S. innovation and economic opportunities.
