The Integrated Data Systems and Services (IDSS) program supports national-scale cyberinfrastructure systems and services to advance open, data-intensive, and AI-driven science and engineering research, innovation, and education. The solicitation accepts proposals in three categories: development and operation of novel national-scale integrated data systems, transition of smaller scale systems to national-scale production quality, and planning grants for future projects. The program aims to support foundational transdisciplinary projects with broad impact across science and engineering communities. Projects benefiting only a single discipline or application are not supported.
