Department of Energy (DOE):
- The Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office is considering an application from Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC for blanket authorization to export up to 500 billion cubic feet of previously imported liquefied natural gas (LNG) over a two-year period.
- Exports will be from the Sabine Pass LNG terminal in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, to countries without a free trade agreement with the U.S.
- The authorization specifically excludes domestically produced natural gas or LNG.
- No specific OEMs are named; Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC is the applicant and operator of the terminal.
- Notable requirement: Only previously imported LNG is eligible for export under this authorization.
Department of Education (ED):
- The Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS) is soliciting applications for the State Personnel Development Grants (SPDG) Program (Assistance Listing Number 84.323A).
- Grants support State Educational Agencies (SEAs) in reforming and improving personnel preparation and professional development for early intervention, educational, and transition services for children with disabilities.

- Eligible applicants: SEAs from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and specified U.S. territories.
- Notable requirements: Projects must align with federal civil rights laws, use scientifically based research, and prioritize expanding career pathways and workforce readiness, including registered apprenticeships for special educators.
- The absolute priority is expanding career pathways and workforce readiness in special education.
