Description
The Employment and Training Administration at the U.S. Department of Labor is soliciting applications to administer the Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) program on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education. The SEED program funds projects to increase the number of highly effective educators by supporting evidence-based practices that prepare, develop, or enhance educator skills to improve student outcomes. Grants will enable eligible entities to develop, expand, and evaluate sustainable and disseminable models. Competitive preference points are available for projects endorsed by a Governor or chief State education official and for projects advancing artificial intelligence or expanding Registered Apprenticeships.
