Description
The Tribal Opioid Response (TOR) program aims to address the opioid overdose crisis in Tribal communities by increasing access to FDA-approved medications for opioid use disorder and supporting prevention, treatment, and recovery services for opioid use disorder and co-occurring substance use disorders. The program also supports services for stimulant misuse and use disorders, including cocaine and methamphetamine. Eligible applicants include federally recognized Native American tribal governments, other Native American tribal organizations, and other entities as defined. The program is funded through grants with a total program funding of $4,787,500 and expects to award 19 grants.
