Description

The Maternal Health Emergency Management Training (MHEMT) program aims to extend the reach and impact of the AIM program by strengthening the capacity of the broader health care workforce in non-delivery and/or low-resource clinical settings. The primary goal is to increase capacity and improve the quality of care provided by clinicians and first responders who encounter pregnant and postpartum women in these settings. The program is funded through a cooperative agreement with a total funding amount of $3,000,000 for one award.
