Description
This funding opportunity provides grant funding for early action safety work related to the San Diego At-grade Crossing Elimination Study (SD ACES). The study will analyze potential grade separations and alternative alignments at eleven at-grade rail crossings in and near downtown San Diego. The existing crossings are insufficient for the urban environment, leading to preventable fatalities and injuries. The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) will hire a contractor to conduct a planning study to identify early action safety work.
