This opportunity is for the sale and removal of demilitarized/mutilated scrap residue from dismantled aircraft at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. - Approximately 40,000 lbs of primarily aluminum scrap is available, with a minimum guaranteed quantity of 20,000 lbs - Material includes solids from obsolete or rejected parts, borings, turnings, aluminum foil, screen, sheet, utensils, castings, and forgings - At least 50% of the total weight is aluminum - Purchaser must demilitarize/mutilate the material on-site within 21 business days - All equipment and personnel for demilitarization and removal must be provided by the purchaser - Strict base access, environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements apply - Demilitarization/mutilation is a condition of sale; material must be rendered unusable for its original military purpose - Certified weighing must occur at designated onsite or alternate scale locations - No specific OEMs, part numbers, or branded products are involved; this is a bulk scrap sale - All sale details, instructions, and compliance requirements are provided in the attached documents - Place of performance is Warner Robins Air Force Base, with contracting managed by DLA Disposition Services HQ
