Description

The FY 2026 Port Infrastructure Development Program (PIDP) announces the availability of $488,628,000 in discretionary grants to improve the safety, efficiency, or reliability of the movement of goods through ports and intermodal connections to ports. Eligible applicants include federally recognized Native American tribal governments, state governments, special district governments, city or township governments, and county governments. Projects must be capital projects located within or directly related to port operations or intermodal connections. The program requires cost sharing and expects to award approximately 40 grants with minimum and maximum award amounts of $1,000,000 and $112,500,000 respectively. Applications are due by June 1, 2026.
