Description
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) intends to continue supporting the Coordinating Center (CC) for the Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC) Consortium. The CC coordinates research on prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and mechanisms of resistance in SCLC, managing administrative activities, databases, tissue banking, biostatistics, bioinformatics, model repositories, and communications. The current U24 CC organizes meetings, maintains resources, supports young investigators, and provides datasets and models to the research community. This funding opportunity supports a five-year cooperative agreement to sustain these shared resources and collaborations.
