Description

The CyberAICorps Scholarship for Service (CyberAI SFS) program addresses the talent shortfall in artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity by providing funding for scholarship programs and projects that enhance the preparation of AI and cybersecurity professionals. The program has two tracks: the Scholarship Track, which funds scholarships for service programs with integrated AI and cybersecurity components requiring recipients to work in government AI or cybersecurity roles after graduation; and the Innovation Track, which supports projects that expand educational opportunities and partnerships in AI and cybersecurity. The program is authorized by statutes related to cybersecurity and AI and is managed by NSF’s Directorate for STEM Education in collaboration with the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and the Department of Homeland Security.
