Description

This opportunity provides grants to State and Tribal Governments for the construction or renovation of State/Tribal owned and operated Veterans Extended Care Facilities, including skilled nursing, domiciliary, and adult day health care facilities. The Department of Veterans Affairs may fund up to 65% of total project costs, and the program is subject to the Build America, Buy America Act, requiring domestic sourcing for materials. Eligible applicants must submit a complete initial application on Grants.gov by April 15th to be considered for the next fiscal year's priority list. Only State and Tribal Governments are eligible; private organizations, religious, non-profit, or individuals may not apply.
