This funding opportunity aims to support NCATS CTSA Program KL2 scholars transitioning to independent academic translational scientists by providing small research grants. The grants will fund various clinical and translational science research projects, including pilot studies, secondary data analysis, small self-contained projects, and development of research methodologies or technologies. Research may or may not involve patient-oriented studies and is intended to be completed in a short time with limited resources, providing preliminary data for future grant applications.
