Description
The Archaeology Program administers an annual Archaeometry competition with a target date of December 1. The goal is to fund projects in two main categories: developing or refining anthropologically relevant archaeometric techniques, and supporting laboratories that provide relevant services such as dating and trace element analyses. Projects applying standard archaeometric techniques to answer specific archaeological questions should be submitted to a different competition. Proposals are evaluated by reviewers with archaeological and archaeometric expertise.
