Description
This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is for STEM education programs and activities focused on physical and natural sciences, technology, engineering, social sciences, and mathematics disciplines, including environmental science education or stewardship. The program aims to develop learners' knowledge, skills, or interest in STEM, attract students to pursue certifications, licenses, or degrees (from two-year degrees through post-doctoral degrees) or careers in STEM fields, provide growth and research opportunities for post-secondary, college, and graduate students in STEM fields, improve mentor/educator quality in STEM areas, and expand institutional capacity to promote STEM fields. Eligible applicants include academia, non-profit, for-profit organizations, and foreign entities. University Affiliated Research Centers (UARC) may submit white papers unless restricted by their DoD UARC contract.
