Description
USDA/FAS is requesting the design and delivery of a training program for marketing U.S. soy for eight mid- to senior-level private sector actors from Uzbekistan's leading firms involved with importing and processing soy. The program aims to promote U.S. soy exports to Uzbekistan and increase U.S. soy exports, making America more prosperous. The training is expected to last 1-2 consecutive weeks, with the host institution proposing the place(s) of performance. USDA/FAS will recruit and select participants after the close of the funding opportunity. The program includes facilitating introductions to U.S. businesses and developing competencies in U.S. food safety laws, trade understanding, and the U.S. soy industry overview.
