Description

The Office of Research Infrastructure Programs (ORIP) is soliciting grant applications to develop, characterize, or improve research models of human health and diseases, including biology-based new approach methodologies (NAMs). The developed models and related materials must be broadly applicable to the scientific interests of two or more NIH Institutes or Centers and address diseases impacting multiple organ systems. Applications must demonstrate the need and potential impact on the research community across multiple NIH ICs. Projects focused narrowly on a specific disease or primarily benefiting one NIH IC will not be accepted.
