Description
HBCU-UP provides awards to strengthen STEM undergraduate education and research at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Support is available through several tracks, including Targeted Infusion Projects, Research on Broadening Participation in STEM, Research Initiation Awards, Implementation Projects, and Broadening Participation Research Centers. Other funding opportunities include EAGER, RAPID, conference, and planning grants. Proposals may only be submitted by accredited HBCUs offering undergraduate programs in STEM. The program aims to enhance and innovate STEM education and broaden participation of underrepresented groups, especially African Americans.
