Description

The CAMEL initiative aims to advance mathematics learning and education through interdisciplinary collaboration involving neuroscience, cognitive sciences, computer science, machine learning, engineering, and education research. It consists of two phases: Phase I invites proposals to create research networks for generating or enhancing high value datasets to advance math learning, involving researchers, education practitioners, and data scientists. Phase II, open only to Phase I awardees, establishes a socio-technological platform to sustain collaborative efforts in K-12 math education.
