Description
The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) is soliciting applications from highly-integrated transdisciplinary team science led by 3-6 PDs/PIs to pursue a single focused goal to overcome persistent barriers, challenge orthodoxies, achieve paradigm-shifts, or develop new foundational principles in neuroscience. The team must deliver outcomes within five years that significantly advance the NINDS mission and transform knowledge and practice, ranging from fundamental neuroscience to human health. The research should require an innovative convergence of disciplines beyond traditional grant mechanisms. Applications are not currently being solicited; this notice allows potential applicants time to develop collaborations and responsive projects.
