Description
The Field Initiated Projects program aims to generate new knowledge through research or develop methods, products, procedures, or technologies to maximize inclusion and integration of people with disabilities into society, employment, independent living, family/caregiver support, and economic self-sufficiency. The program focuses on people with disabilities who have the greatest support needs. Grants support intensive, systematic studies to produce new scientific knowledge or better understanding of the subject. NIDILRR plans to make 13 awards with a 36-month project period, including three 12-month budget periods.
