Description

This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) invites applications from institutions/organizations to establish core centers as part of an integrated and existing program of nutrition and/or obesity research. The Nutrition Obesity Research Centers (NORC) program supports and enhances national research efforts in nutrition and obesity through Research Core services, a Pilot and Feasibility program, and an Enrichment program. The activities aim to improve the efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and multidisciplinary nature of nutrition and obesity research. Eligible applicants include for-profit organizations other than small businesses, nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status, and private and public institutions of higher education.
