Description

The National Institute on Aging (NIA) plans to establish a multi-component Translational Center to accelerate the use of Digital Health Technologies (DHT) data in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) and AD-Related Dementias (ADRD) research. The Center will develop infrastructure, methods, and best practices for hosting, discovering, accessing, disseminating, and integrating multi-modal, legacy, and new DHT data. It aims to create a cloud-based, federated, FAIR data infrastructure for secure storage, processing, dissemination, analysis, and integration of DHT data generated by AD/ADRD studies. Applications are not currently being solicited, but potential applicants are encouraged to prepare for future opportunities. The NOFO intends to utilize the U54 activity code.
