Description
The Switzer Research Fellowships program aims to build research capacity by supporting highly qualified individuals, including those with disabilities, to conduct original research on rehabilitation, independent living, and other experiences and outcomes of people with disabilities. The research must focus on health and function, employment, or community living and participation outcomes among people with disabilities. The program plans to award four fellowships, each with a 12-month project period. Only individuals are eligible to apply, and fellowship funds are taxable income. Non-U.S. citizens must provide documentation of eligibility to receive research funding from a U.S. government agency.
