This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to advance a nationally Integrated Food Safety System by supporting state manufactured food regulatory programs through the Manufactured Food Regulatory Program Standards (MFRPS), Food Protection Task Force (FPTF) programs, Dietary Supplement programs, and special projects. Funding is available for MFRPS development or maintenance, establishing or supporting Food Protection Task Forces, developing state-driven dietary supplement regulatory frameworks, and innovative projects promoting food safety integration. Eligible applicants include state governments, federally recognized Native American tribal governments, and other eligible organizations with or willing to enter into FDA food safety inspection contracts. The opportunity offers cooperative agreements with a minimum award of $340,000 and a maximum of $1,285,000, with no cost sharing or matching required.
