Description
The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) intends to award a cooperative agreement to the Center for Employment Security Education and Research (CESER) for continued operations of the Unemployment Insurance (UI) Integrity Center of Excellence. The UI Integrity Center provides training and technical assistance to states to improve UI program integrity, develops and disseminates UI program integrity resources, and promotes innovative tools to prevent improper payments and enhance fraud prevention. The award is funded by the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024, with $9,000,000 allocated for continued support. CESER has operated the UI Integrity Center since Fiscal Year 2017 and is a 501(c)(3) entity affiliated with the National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA).
