Description
This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) seeks Leading Edge Acceleration Projects (LEAP) in Health Information Technology to address challenges inhibiting the development and advancement of interoperable health IT scalable across the healthcare industry. The projects aim to further a new generation of health IT research and inform the development and refinement of standards and techniques to overcome major barriers innovatively. The funding opportunity is competitive and open to public or non-profit private institutions, units of local or state government, eligible federal agencies, and Native American Tribal Governments. For-profit organizations and foreign institutions may participate only as consortium members or sub-recipients, but their applications will not be reviewed if submitted independently.
