Description
This funding opportunity announcement (FOA) encourages applications to advance the discovery, preclinical development, and proof of concept testing of new candidate agents and neurostimulation approaches for the treatment of mental disorders, substance use disorders, or alcohol use disorder. The FOA also supports the development of novel ligands and circuit-engagement devices as tools to further characterize or validate drug/device targets. Partnerships between academia and industry are strongly encouraged, and the program supports multidisciplinary, long-term research efforts.
