The program supports phased awards to eligible Tribal Entities to develop and implement effective training and mentoring activities for research-oriented individuals earning a bachelor's degree in a biomedically-relevant field. The goal is to prepare individuals to conduct AI/AN health research in a culturally appropriate, ethically responsible, and rigorous manner, complete a biomedical bachelor's degree, and transition into biomedical research careers.
