Description

The NIH Common Fund and multiple NIH Institutes and Centers intend to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity for Stage 2 of the Cellular Senescence Network (SenNet) Program. The program aims to understand the biological consequences of senescent cell heterogeneity, identify tissue-specific senescence markers, and develop senotherapeutic strategies. The SenNet Data Coordination, Integration and Organizational Center will integrate tissue mapping efforts to generate Atlases of Senescence and serve as the organizational hub for consortium and outreach activities. Applications are not currently being solicited; this notice allows potential applicants time to develop collaborations and projects. The funding opportunity will use the U24 or UM1 activity codes.
