Description

The National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities plans to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity to solicit applications for a national coordinating center for the Research Centers in Minority Institutions initiative. The RCMI program supports less research-intensive institutions offering doctorates in health professions or health-related sciences. The coordinating center will support RCMI U54 centers and the Clinical Research Network by conducting evaluations, supporting scientific expertise sharing, leveraging resources, and centralizing operations and data management. Applications are not currently being solicited, allowing potential applicants time to develop collaborations and projects. Collaborative investigations across scientific disciplines are encouraged.
