Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, along with other NIH Institutes and Centers, plans to support the HIV International epidemiology Databases to Evaluate AIDS (IeDEA) Consortium. This consortium includes seven regional cohort centers that set regional research agendas and collect HIV clinical, research, and contextual data to address HIV research priorities globally and regionally. The data collected help in understanding and guiding responses to the HIV epidemic and support data access, quality, and analysis. Applications are not currently being solicited; this notice allows potential applicants to develop collaborations and projects. Investigators with expertise in HIV epidemiology are encouraged to consider applying.
