Description
The National Institute of Mental Health intends to publish a Notice of Funding Opportunity to solicit applications for pilot research to adapt, optimize, and test behavioral interventions addressing common sleep problems in adolescents and young adults with or at risk for mental health disorders. The NOFO supports pilot clinical trials to evaluate feasibility, tolerability, acceptability, safety, and potential effectiveness in real-world settings. Applications should also preliminarily test the intervention's impact on sleep and mental health outcomes and examine mechanisms underlying effectiveness. This funding opportunity uses the R34 activity code and encourages interdisciplinary collaborative teams.
