Description
The Administration for Children and Families' Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation requests Office of Management and Budget approval of a revision of a previously approved overarching generic clearance to collect data on programs serving youth transitioning out of foster care as part of the Chafee Strengthening Outcomes for Transition to Adulthood Project. This generic mechanism allows rapid-cycle evaluations that would not be feasible under the Paperwork Reduction Act timelines. The data collections aim to inform programming by building evidence about effective practices to improve outcomes for youth transitioning out of foster care and to identify innovative learning methods addressing evaluation challenges. The revisions focus the generic clearance on a subset of originally proposed request types.
