This opportunity is for the Steel Tower Road Culvert Repair project at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. - Government Buyer: - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic, Department of Defense, Department of the Navy - ROICC Camp Lejeune, U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune - Eligible Contractors: - Only pre-approved Civil/Paving MACC Contractors listed on the General Requirements cover page may submit proposals - Products/Materials Requested: - 96 linear feet of 48" reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) - 2 concrete headwalls (upstream and downstream ends) - 190 tons of Aggregate Base Course (ABC) backfill, compacted in 6" lifts to 95% density - Centipede sod for permanent vegetative seeding of disturbed areas - Services Requested: - Construction services for road closure and culvert repair - Traffic control throughout construction - Utility location and protection - Construction coordination with ROICC and Range Control - Site cleanup and debris removal (daily) - De-watering of stream section for concrete work - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Removal of approximately 100 linear feet of existing 48" corrugated metal pipe - Compliance with NCDOT standards for installation and materials - Environmental considerations and utility protection - Bonds required based on proposal value - Estimated contract value between $100,000 and $250,000 - Completion period of 240 days after award - Place of Performance: - Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, including Verona Loop Training Area and Steel Tower Road
